Testing #LLVM snapshots for #Gentoo be like:
1. You build and test LLVM. It turns out that Clang fails at CMake time. Regression was introduced by a corporate employee on Friday, with no review and only a link to the internal Apple bug tracker. You submit a patch.
https://github.com/llvm/llvm-project/pull/86386
2. You go back a day, just before the breaking change, and start over. You build and test all LLVM components, only to discover at the very last package that OpenMP was broken, roughly an hour earlier. You submit a patch.
https://github.com/llvm/llvm-project/pull/86397
3. You go back prior to that commit, and start over. Fortunately, CCache saves you from rebuilding everything from scratch. Still, many hours of testing are ahead of you. You really hope for no more regressions…

Thanks to the ACA, millions of people across the country can access the care they need. Once again, Trump wants to rip away that care and widen health equity gaps that the ACA helped fix. We won’t let him.

Social revolution, a how-to by @… (i know, it's NOT a how-to, fool), i loved reading this and was happy the campfire metaphor was not taken to a place i feared, the pissing on the embers before moving to the next campground:
"Social movements have an uphill battle. You’ve survived the initial repression, then you’ve survived the constant one-two punch of repression and recuperation. You’ve survived splintering by refusing to let the more radical elements within your movement be isolated and picked off. You’ve become a full-fledged revolution, combining mass social movements with militant actors who are redistributing property and defending the gains of the revolution.
The final recuperative force generally comes from within the revolutionary movement itself: authoritarianism. It’s Boromir grabbing the ring of power, it’s the Bolsheviks declaring themselves in charge of a pluralistic movement and killing everyone who disagrees with them.
The purpose of a social revolution is to redistribute power horizontally, but there will always be people who say “yes, and I should be given all of the power so that I can better redistribute it,” rather than continuing to work from the bottom-up model that built the revolution in the first place."
#revolution #anarchism
“UX pretends that capitalism can be coaxed into giving a shit. It chugs along as if UX designers and researchers are the ones who are going to cause a revolution of socialist CEOs who consider users beyond their money and their data.
But the inside secret of commercial UX is that the empathy is just a posture and the businesses benefit from the aura of care without having to entertain it.”

#goodmorning friends!
This is the place that I'd like to be now. But well, you can't have it all. But I do have my memories of this day! I'm so looking forward to those spring days now.
Nevertheless, don't forget the most important thing: enjoy your #sunday! I hope you…
